She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a Master's degree in Accountancy from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance from Liverpool Polytechnic, United Kingdom.

With a tenure spanning several years, she has held key positions, including Director and Deputy Director at the Accounting Research Institute, UiTM Shah Alam. Her expertise extends to diverse roles, such as Research and Development Coordinator at the Institute of Education Development and Student Development Officer at Pusat Pendidikan Persediaan. Additionally, she served as a Credit Officer at Standard Chartered Bank.
