His research during his Ph.D. focused on robust control, advanced sliding mode strategies, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and renewable energy control design.

He has worked as a Research Associate at COMSATS University, Islamabad, and later served as an Assistant Professor at Quaid-e-Azam College of Engineering and Technology-Sahiwal.
