She earned her Bachelor's degree with a focus on Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, UP, in 2002. She further pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Allahabad Agriculture Institute, Naini, Allahabad, UP, graduating in 2004. Driven by her passion for research, she completed her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, in 2010.

Dr. Goswami's professional journey reflects a commitment to scientific exploration. She embarked on her career as a Scientist-S1 at NAARM, New Delhi, for a brief period of four months in 2010. Subsequently, she joined IARI, New Delhi, as a Scientist-S1 in 2011, and over the years, she has risen to the position of Scientist (Senior-Scale), a testament to her dedication and contributions.
