Liu Jie is an Associate Professor and Vice Dean at the School of Public Safety and Emergency Management, Kunming University of Science and Technology, specializing in underground engineering ventilation, urban public safety, environmental air quality monitoring, and intelligent optimization algorithms. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees in Safety Engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology and a Doctor of Engineering in Safety Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral research at the Postdoctoral Research Station of Mining Engineering, Kunming University of Science and Technology, including on-the-job training with the Yunnan Provincial Administration of Work Safety.
