Following this, he pursued a postgraduate degree, MD in Internal Medicine, from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India, graduating with First Division honors in 2013.

Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Verma completed his DM residency, specializing in Hepatology, at PGIMER in 2017, once again achieving a First Division. During this time, he also undertook an observer position at the Thomas E. Starzl Institute of Liver Transplantation, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, in 2017.

In 2020, Dr. Verma diversified his skill set by obtaining a Diploma in Machine Learning with R Studio, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical technology.
