Dr. Shardha Porwal is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, with over 15 years of academic and research experience in computer science and engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and an M.Tech. from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. Her research interests span cryptography, cyber security, data structures, algorithms, and network security, areas in which she has published extensively in SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals as well as in international conferences. With a Google Scholar h-index of 5, her research has been cited 114 times across more than 30 documents, reflecting her growing scholarly impact. She has supervised four M.Tech. theses and is currently guiding two Ph.D. scholars, demonstrating her commitment to academic mentorship and research development. Dr. Porwal is also an innovator, with three patents granted in the fields of cybersecurity, smart devices, and intelligent traffic management, and she has authored three books. Recognized for her contributions to research and teaching, she has also worked on practical industry projects such as developing a Smart Card Operating System based on SCOSTA specifications.
