His academic foundation was laid at Makerere University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, graduating with an Upper Second Division in 1994. Driven by a passion for chemistry, Wasswa continued his studies at Makerere, earning a Master of Science degree in Chemistry in 1999. His relentless pursuit of knowledge culminated in a Ph.D. in Chemistry, awarded by Makerere University in 2010.
