He started his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering from the Islamic Azad University, Varamin branch, in 2001. His interest in plant pathology led him to pursue a Master's degree in Plant Pathology with a focus on Curriculum Virology at the Islamic Azad University of Tehran in 2003. Building on his Master's studies, he earned his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology with a specialization in Curriculum Virology in 2007, also from the Islamic Azad University of Tehran.

Since 2003, Farshad Rakhshandehroo has been a faculty member at the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. He holds the position of Assistant Professor and has been actively involved in teaching and research throughout his academic career.
