Dr. Medhat Moustafa El-Sayed embarked on his academic journey with a strong foundation in Physics and Computer Science at Ain Shams University, Cairo, earning his Bachelor's degree with Honors in 1994. His early interest in nuclear science led him to pursue a Master's degree at Zagazig University, Cairo, in cooperation with the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, Russia. There, he delved into the application of neutron activation analysis on biological and industrial systems using fast neutrons, completing his degree in 2002.

His passion for research and education led him to pursue a Ph.D. in Physics at Zagazig University, Cairo, with collaboration from JINR in Dubna, Russia. Dr. El-Sayed successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Modern utilization of accurate methods for gamma ray spectral analysis detected by high pure Germanium detectors" on March 23, 2006.

Professional Endeavors

Following his academic achievements, Dr. El-Sayed ventured into various professional endeavors, including postdoctoral research and teaching positions. Notably, he served as a Professor at the Egyptian Atomic Energy, Nuclear Research Center, Cairo, and later held the position of Associate Professor.
