She began her educational journey with a GCE "O" Level Certificate from Archbishop Porter Girlsโ€™ Secondary School, Takoradi, in 1984. Subsequently, she pursued her nursing education, earning a Registered Nurse qualification in 1988 from the Nursesโ€™ Training College, Korle-bu. Her commitment to the field led her to further specialize in midwifery, obtaining the Registered Midwife qualification from Midwifery Training School, Korle-bu, in 1991.

Adelaide's academic pursuits continued with a GCE "A" Level Certificate as a private candidate in Ho in 1993. She then proceeded to the University of Ghana Business School, Legon, where she completed an MBA with a focus on Human Resource Management in 2001. Further academic achievements include an MPhil in Public Health (Health Policy, Planning, and Management) from the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Legon, in 2007.
