He completed his undergraduate studies at Anadolu University, graduating from the Faculty of Science-Literature with a degree in Statistics in 1992. His commitment to statistical research and analysis led him to pursue higher education.

In 2004, Çelik obtained his first Master's degree from Ankara University, specializing in Statistics with a thesis titled "Normal Distribution and Inferences Related to Normal Distribution." His dedication to advancing his knowledge continued, and in 2006, he earned a second Master's degree in Statistics from Ankara University, this time with a thesis on "Time Series Analysis and Its Application to Traffic Accident Data."

Not satisfied with just two Master's degrees, Çelik pursued a Ph.D. in Zootechnics (Animal Science) from Ankara University's Institute of Science and Technology. He successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in 2013, titled "Sorghum as a bioenergy crop coupled with chromium-reducing bacteria and organic acids for the remediation of chromium-contaminated soil in Pakistan and Turkey: An innovative and eco-friendly approach." His academic journey showcased a multidisciplinary approach, integrating statistical methods with agricultural and environmental sciences.
