Dr. Suneha Goswami began her academic journey with a strong foundation in biochemistry. She earned her Bachelor's degree with a focus on Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, UP, in 2002. She further pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Allahabad Agriculture Institute, Naini, Allahabad, UP, graduating in 2004. Driven by her passion for research, she completed her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, in 2010.

Dr. Goswami's professional journey reflects a commitment to scientific exploration. She embarked on her career as a Scientist-S1 at NAARM, New Delhi, for a brief period of four months in 2010. Subsequently, she joined IARI, New Delhi, as a Scientist-S1 in 2011, and over the years, she has risen to the position of Scientist (Senior-Scale), a testament to her dedication and contributions.

Dr. Suneha Goswami specializes in Stress-Genomics and Nutritional Biochemistry, focusing on understanding the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying stress responses in plants. Her research endeavors have resulted in numerous impactful publications, addressing crucial aspects such as heat stress, nutritional composition, and genetic mechanisms in various crops, with a particular emphasis on millets and wheat.
