Professor Siddhartha Kumar Mishra embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University in 1998. His passion for the life sciences led him to the University of Lucknow, where he completed his Master’s in Biochemistry in 2001. Motivated by a quest for deeper understanding, he pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow, awarded by Bundelkhand University, Jhansi in 2009. This period marked the beginning of his distinguished career in biochemical research, setting the foundation for his future contributions to the field.

He began his professional journey as a Research Associate at the Department of Gastroenterology, G.B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi, in 2008. Returning to India, he served as an Assistant Professor at Dr. Harisingh Gour Central University, Sagar, from 2013 to 2020, and then as an Associate Professor at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Since May 2022, he has been a Professor at the University of Lucknow, further advancing his research and teaching in biochemistry.
