He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2011, completing part of his research training at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, under an HEC-funded IRSIP fellowship. His research expertise encompasses the development of efficient energy devices, biosorbents for wastewater treatment, environmental pollutant analysis, bio-fuel production, electroanalytical investigations, and computational studies on gas sensing and carbon dioxide conversion.
